Duncan began work in the summer of 2002, although his love
of building and fixing things started much earlier. He has
always loved cars and would build radio controlled cars
when he was young and chase the cats with them. For Duncan,
de-assembly and re-assembly is where it's at. His other
hobby came along in middle school when he bought his first
mountain bike. After learning all he could about bicycle
tuning, he took a summer job at Cothron's and had a great
time fixing and selling bikes. Fall came again and he received
a BMW 520i for his 15th birthday. The body of the car was
in good condition, but the engine needed to be replaced.
By the time he got his liscence, he had the car running
and ready to go. Well, Duncan is older now and he drives
a 1988 BMW M3 with an 90's era M50 motor put into it. He
is presently working on exchanging his motor with a late
model E36 M3 motor and adding a supercharger to put out
over 400 horsepower!
Duncan
does a great job here at the shop maintaining the sales
cars, working on customer cars as well as specializing in
all things MINI...Oh yeah, and he's Terry and Debbie's son.
